I finished a new layout. xD Finally after almost 2 months? : ) I like it.. Because the Royal Draik is so colourful. And IT'S PURPLE! :O I love purple, one of my favourite colours. ^^
Anyways, yesterday was not only my Mom's birthday, but it was the FEDERAL ELECTION! I was hoping the Liberals would win, but they didn't. The Conservatives, AGAIN, won the election with 144 seats out of 308 in the House of Commons. Yes, I read the newspaper. : D We participated in the Student Vote program, and Raymond Chan, MP for Richmond (Liberal), won the student vote in our school. ^^ BUT NO! WE WERE WRONG. THE CONSERVATIVES HAD AN OUTSTANDING NUMBER OF VOTES. )': I'm sad to see Harper win.
But oh well. Ever since I moved here to Canada, I wanted to attend a private school. Well, I applied last year, but I was in the waiting list. They called my parents in September, asking if I was still interested. OFCOURSE I WAS. So they made an appointment, which was today. We're talking the best (in my opinion) private all-girls school here in Vancouver. You have to take SATT, and they'll interview you, LOL. No joke. Well, I took the SATT last May, and they told my parents I was beyond average. They were impressed with my grades. I participate in leadership conferences @ my school, so they were pretty impressed with that as well.. But they're just concerned with my Math, my hatest subject, remember? Well. My 2nd report card last year had a C+ for Math.. Then it went up to a B for my last report card last year. This year, I'm still having trouble with Math, BECAUSE "DR. J" ruins it all. Anyways, I've been failing quizzes. And I'm hoping I get a perfect score for my test next week Tuesday. I study so hard, and I understand EVERYTHING he says, but I don't understand why I fail my quizzes! ): But.. They said, if I get straight As, or EVEN BOOST THAT MATH MARK UP, for sure I will get in next year. I'm kind of excited, but now I need to think about my grades, and how I can make that from a C+ to an A or B+. I need to try my best, and it's time's running out. Report cards are due by November. </3
But anyways, I'm hoping my day will be okay today. ^^ I'm gonna go fix some mistakes in the layout now. Visit the affies, please? Thanks! : D
